Detriot, MI---The Detriot Pistons are shaking up their organization once again, but this time Chauncey Billups won't be the one who kills the organization. The Pistions new GM, Alex Smith, has been dedicated to trying to improve his teams youth. "Our team had a fantastic run for the past 7-10 years, but its time to move on. That doesn't mean we will be blowing everything up, but we will be moving some key pieces around." Its been long rumored that while Lifshatz strongly denies wanting to move young PG Rodney Stuckey, that he has been shopping him around and that he may be on his way out of Detriot. "In reguard to Rodney, I have no comment. We really like him as a player, as a person, and as a teammate." When asked whether Lifshatz would move Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, or newly-signed Ben Gordon, Lifshatz replied with a simple "if the right offer comes along, we could move anyone." It could be a move in the right direction for Detriot. Hopefully the Pistons could make a few correct moves, and turn this team into a contender in a year or two.
