Say what ever you want but Nuggets is getting a 21-22 years old borderline all-star center for a player that might not re-sign in the off-season.
There is a chance that by trading Lopez, chances of Nets getting Melo to re-sign lowered down.
Sure, Harrington might have some positive value but for Nuggets it is a big contract for next off-season.
This is not about what others can offer because no one did a bigger offer. It is about whether this trade is rejectable or not.
It is too easy for non-trade committee members to speak here saying they would trade this or that for Melo but when they have to pull the trigger they always come to or Knicks asking; Will Melo re-sign with me?
And again, NON-TRADE COMMITTEE MEMBERS CAN NOT POST ON TRADES!

I would like to add that only trade committee members are supposed to be able to post in trade threads... Yeah I know, but you guys are way too uptight. This is supposed to be a fun league. Who cares if someone else makes a comment on a trade, or if they post something in someones trade block. You girls need lighten up, it's all for fun This is why we have an RSSA Trade Talk Thread - rssa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=244If you non-CM's want to talk about trades, that's the place to do it. It just doesn't look good to have a non-CM post in the trade thread, then suddenly CM's who already voted are changing their votes after this non-CM voiced his opinion. Feel free to voice your opinions in that thread, in the shoutbox, in PMs, on AIM or another messenger service, but we want to keep these threads to CM's and the members involved in the trade. Thanks.

I reject this trade. I dont care how bright Lopezs future looks. He will never be a top 5 NBA player. It would be a different story if hes getting other good players as well.

Pretty bad deal for Melo. Especially since you turned me down when I offered Millsap and Al Jeff. Utah is this a vote of Reject or what? What is your vote? Right now we are at 3 reject and 1 accept. I am also still assessing the trade, but if Utah is going to vote reject then the deal is rejected no matter what I vote, so just curious.
