Pistons Trade: SG Sasha Vujacic 68 $5,475,113 SF Julian Wright 68 $2,858,057 $3,952,653
Total Outgoing: $8,333,170 Total Incoming: $19,573,711
Magic Trade: SF Rashard Lewis 77 $19,573,711 $21,136,630 $22,699,550
Total Outgoing: $19,573,711 Total Incoming: $8,333,170
I accept. I know this is crazy for a young team rebuilding, but Shard next year will be a $21 million dollar expiring...how can you not want that? Plus Young is hurt, and I need a SF right now. I won't lie, losing 12 million worth of space hurts, but I think that it might be worth it, plus I think I could eventually swing Shard for better

Definitely not, everybody knows that, BUT it's the only deal that was out there that got me under the hard cap AND didn't have me taking bad contracts for the future.

Washington, I hate to be the voice of reason here, but I feel rather strongly that you should refrain from voting in this trade.
As you acquired the player exactly 11 minutes later.
Long term, for the life of the league, little things like ethics should be considered.
Just sayin....
Thanks for listening.

SAS.. There are 6 of us other than Detroit.. I have to vote on this deal or else it sits here for weeks.

Well, perhaps time for a rule change.
If a trade board member makes a trade right after another trade (say one hour or less) than it goes to 5 of us versus 6 (as you say) meaning we only need 3 votes instead of 4.
As the head of this operation, it just looks terribly poor for you to be voting on this and open's the door for all types of claims.

Everybody who's in this league knows i'm not a cheater nor would I ever cheat. To think of me as a cheater is a ludicrous statement.
Want my reasoning why I'm accepting this deal?
That make it better?
Here: The Magic are 9 million dollars over the hard cap, and the rule si the yneed to be under. I gave him due time and he found a deal that netted him SOME value over him just cutting Rashard. Yes I Feel my deal gives him more value but he didn't take that.
Either way this deal needs two more votes. So instead of accusing me of cheating. Just vote.

SAS
You're talking about the same guy who essentially vetoed his own deal with OKC b/c he felt like he was getting too much in return by getting Westbrook/Green for Rondo/Darko.
So I don't think he's trying to cheat or whatever the accusation is.

Never called you a cheater.
Odd, you would bring it up.
I am saying that no matter who it is... they should not vote "yes" for a trade when they are trading for a player shortly after.
Checks and balances. Ethics. Not cheating, reality.
Don't read my posts the wrong way.
Thank you.

And I do vote yes to this trade as Magic had to do something and this was clearly one of the, if not his best options league wide.

Spurs, while I'm glad you accepted, the way you made that post, it actually directly sounded like you were making a claim against him cheating. You may not have meant it, but from what I read, thats what I thought you meant also

No no, just talking a notch above in an ethical sphere.
Good luck!
