This deal was shot down by one of the members involved (Washington) because he felt he was getting too much. He knew OKC was a new manager that had not done Sims before, and after looking at the trade again he took it on himself to shut the trade down and reject it.
Some reasons he felt this way: 1. Darko's contract is long and a bit expensive for a guy with his track record IRL and his Rating in this league. 2. Westbrook isn't that far behind Rondo, and is a LOT cheaper and still has a couple years on his contract. 3. Green is a very nice player himself signed fairly cheaply and has another yea left on his contract possibly.
