Like I stated in the Marco's Portland Trailblazers - Denver trade thread:
Marco worked his craft -- trading and cutting three-way deals -- and now we find ourselves here at this juncture... We can move forward and enjoy the league and continue to build on it or we can continue to harp on one trade -- which is more like the 15th trade in a progression of trades.
Bulls, I hope you stay so I too can see your GM skills, but if you leave, best regards.

Just to prove myself in this thread, I would like to say something about the Nuggets-Nets trade (that I accepted. I can't get bored of saying that, lol).
That trade wasn't approved because Nets was not willing to add an extra 1st and/or give up Al Harrington.
Here is how I look at it: 2011 NJN 1st was the key. Nets are currently 13 in the East with a 11-17 record. Before the Melo trade, Nets GM sure could get a slightly worse pick and value for his pick. If he did that, he could add that value to get Melo and that pick that he got in the 1st trade, would instantly become better than his own pick.
If Nets GM did that, he would have Melo and a better pick by now.

On the subject of resignings, how will it work? I keep hearing that it is the player's decision, so is that the case? If so, how does that work? Does the game decide or is there gonna be some person deciding(which would be subjective) but just confused on that.

Well #1 - resignings and re-signings are two different things. :-D
#2 - Our next goal after finishing the Ratings Thread Project is actually getting something together to make it more clear how Player Agents and the details of Free Agency type things will be handled.

No not really. I do agree he was an ass. Now to be completely honest, when I read your post I was truly confused. I was like, what is he talking about with players resigning?!?! I thought you meant GM's instead of Players, and I was like, why WOULDN'T it be their choice?
Truthfully, you posted in a thread about resignation from a league, and said speaking of resigning. It confused me.

Yeah, i was kinda confused too, haha. Player agents decide on FA's futures. I was not in the league when good FAs were still available but if you check the threads you will see members of the Trade Committee decided on players.

"Dude, I kick your ass with my GM skills. I don't need rejectable deals to get my team to look the way i want it to look. Maybe you do because you are like Chris Wallace and i am like Danny Ainge." from Marco
Obviously you do since a couple people on the committee rejected it and at least 4 people that aren't on the committee had a problem with the trade. That tells anyone right there that it is a rejectable trade. So yes you made a rejectable trade to make your team the way u want it to look, which is dominant.

And please do not put u and Danny Ainge in the same sentence again. Not one person in here should ever claim themselves to be like an NBA GM. That's just stupid

If you want to stay that is fine. Knicks is in charge of hiring and firing GMs anyway and it is up to him.
You can say all the bad things you want about me but that won’t change the fact you didn't offer what it take to get Melo. At the end, it was Nuggets that decided. 1st, Nuggets picked Nets. Then, he picked my team.
And it is ridiculous that you complain about the things I make for the league. I still feel the players list was something i had to do.

So first of all let me start off with this, I think Portland is the biggest nerd and douche bag to grace this planet called Earth. Between his random rants IMing me when I clearly didn't give a fuck, I couldn't stand him. You call yourself Danny Ainge? LOL you realize if one of his former teammates didn't HAND him Garnett he wouldn't of even had a job right now. Ask 76ers I've built some teams that would make you shit your pants. Don't question my GM ability when the truth is if GSW and NOH who coincidentally were new GMs at the time didn't hand their players to you, your team would still be shit.
I'm not mad you built your team up, I'm more or less annoyed you ripped off GMs who clearly don't belong. GSW had Udoh in 2 different offers! He clearly doesn't know shit. Just because I don't spend 24 hours a day on here putting together elaborate 10 team deals doesn't make me a shitty GM. You just hold a grudge because I wouldn't trade you Noah for absolute garbage. You got your man in the end though so don't hate. I just find you extremely annoying and you rip off unproven GMs and I think your a big enough nerd to recruit your buddies (If you have any??) to join the league and trade with you.
