I would also like to say that I no longer have time to be a staff member, I will still be a GM in the league and will be more active soon but as of now I am not putting my full attention on the league. Sorry and hopefully someone can jump in.

After some serious consideration, I have decided to resign from the RSSA. I resign not because I am uncomfortable with the direction the RSSA is going in. A solid core set of GM's exist. RSSA leadership has stabilized and have a vision for the future. I have appreciated the improved tone of civility and reason coming from the Knicks recent emails. He has displayed improved leadership communication which bodes well for the league. Portland has been a godsend and he possesses a ratings change process plan which he explained to me last night that shows promise and will most likely work if GM's work together for the sake of the league.
I have resigned simply because the RSSA rules and structure wasn't what I expected or used to in a sim league. From looking at many threads, it is obvious many GM's are comfortable and used to sim leagues similar to the RSSA. The league rolled out as it did. The past is the past and can't be changed. In no way do I finger point and place blame, but the league developed in a different direction than what I had hoped. I do believe the league is heading in a good direction, however. To use a comparison we Americans can understand: some guys like Chevy trucks, some Ford trucks. Simply, my time is limited and I want to refocus my basketball sim participation.
I wish the league well and the next Warriors GM good fortune.
Respectfully.
Rich

Rich, I understand where you are coming from. If this is not the type of Sim League you are interested in, it is completely understandable that you no longer want to be a part of it. I'll apologize once more for not being as clear, previously, with what type of league it was going to be. I was basically ignorant to the fact that there even was another "type" of sim league.
Good luck in your endeavors.

I am considering stepping down as GM. But if i do i will stay as admin so don't worry. I just wish i could find someone i trust to take the team that took me 14 trades to build, lol.
I really did not ask to be a GM or main admin or whatever.
A week after TB opened the league, I taught him 1 or 2 things and i offered myself to help in the league but he said he did not want me if i didn't take a team. I answered that i would only join if i get Heat, Lakers or Thunder, LOL. I really wanted to have Heat in a sim league, hahaha.
He said that would never happen but after the rejected Rondo-Westbrook trade, Thunder's GM was replaced without even asking me 1st if i wanted them, lol. Like i said in the previous paragraph, i was willing to join without a team just to help.
26 days ago, I decided to go ahead and accept the best available team to join because i knew that if i didn't, the league would die and i did not want that happen.
So, that's my story, lol. I know i made 14 trades already but that is because i can't help myself as a GM... Alll i know is that if i will stay as GM, i need to relax, lol. If i am just an admin, i know i would. I really cannot spend as much time as I do talking trades over AIM, haha.
I don't know. Stepping down as GM might be good for me but it is really hard for me to abandon these Blazers. When i took the team i didn't like it so much but after 14 trades i started to like it, hahahaha.
Whether i stay or i stop being a GM i really want to have my name. I don't like GMs calling me Portland. I prefer to be called by my real name, lol.

You should stick as a GM. You're making the team better and honestly, you don't need to do much trading.
I made about 3 or 4 deals before the season started and I'm content with what I have right now. You can let it play out a little longer and if you don't feel like you have to trade, stay in the GM role.

I said it the best way i could. It is not easy to use all the rights words in a weird thread like this, lol.
