I want to do this deal to really give me a shot at the Finals, and with S Jax going with Al Jeff and Deron I really feel that can happen. We got Portland involved to make the salaries work out good and I am able to take on Pendergraph and Carroll's contracts without it really hurting me. I'll only have a million dollars for the 2010-2011 season. Of course it sucks that I give away younger players who got great upside but that's the price you pay sometimes. I also get a decent big man to come off the bench in Kurt.
